Thunderpants organic cotton and elastane fabric is super stretchy, comfy and easy-fit. There’s no nasty, scratchy elastic that digs in making them the ultimate comfy undie.
The undie styles are designed to sit in the natural curves of the body and are cut with plenty of fabric to cover your bum. Because our fabric is a bit thicker than you may be used to and has great retention and recovery, they may feel like they fit a bit tighter.
See the size guide below to help you choose the right size. If you happen to fall between the measurements in the undies, we recommend going up a size rather than down.... Our fabric is stretchy enough that a bigger size will often still fit, but won’t feel as tight. For the other garments, Bike Shorts, Leggings, and Camis, you should be ok in the same size as your Thundies but obviously all bodies are unique and how you want to wear them varies.

Hipster vs Original vs Sky Rise?
The three styles are exactly the same around the legs and bottom, the hipster is low rise sits on your low hip, the originals are higher and usually fall just below the belly button, and the sky rise are a high waisted that taper in at the top to sit on your natural waist.

Kids
As all children are different we suggest you go with your own intuition a little here. Thunderpants are very accommodating and tend to grow with your child so some children will wear their small undies well into the medium size range. When your child outgrows the children's range they can move into the smaller adults sizes.

Our higher waisted style. In sizes small - 3x large, check our size guide against your measurements. this ultra comfortable full brief sits in the natural crease at the top of the leg and reaches all the way to your natural waist. They taper in at the top, so will sit and stay right at the waist all day long. Perfect for those who are looking for an extra high undie.

The Thunderpants fabric is 90% organically grown cotton and 10% elastane to give it that super comfy, soft stretchy feel. The waist and leg bands are constructed in the same, lovely fabric eliminating the need for the addition of nasty, grippy elastic and adding to the enjoyment of your Thunderpants experience. All the garments are made locally and lovingly in the UK.

To preserve the print and life of the fabric we suggest you do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants items. Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry your Thunderpants on the line, not in the drier.
Your Thunderpants are not only super comfy but they are designed to withstand some pretty staunch stuff, so get into them and get on out there!

I have friends who rave about Thunderpants and they are not wrong. OMG! So comfy and they wash well too. I went for the Hi-Rise because it was my size in the sale and I wanted to try a pair first. These will not be the last pair I buy. Super comfy, up to my waistline - as my nan always said 'you need to keep your kidneys warm' - hahaha
I bought 3 high risers, all lovely: they felt like proper pants!
This is a lot of pant! A lot more than I'm used to. But they feel fun and comfy and nostalgic. I'm really looking forward to wearing them in the winter months. Toasty!

Comfortable, supportive, happy colours and patterns and easy to wash! My new perfect pants at 77 years old. I am hoping to outlive them but the quality is great too.

Delighted with the high quality of these pants! Thick cotton, generous sizing and cut, and well sewn equal real comfort to wear. I tend to wear black or sand colours but will branch out a bit more ; at seventy six who knows, I may wear dolphins on my pants for the very first time!

These knickers are fantastic: unlike all other knickers, they don't climb up my bum. They're soft and my older pairs have stayed soft after lots of eco washes in hard water (unlike most of the rest of my laundry). And they sit right (I'm 5'10", roughly a 12, and take a size M). I do sometimes find thunderpants a little hot in summer but I haven't had a chance to check these new ones out yet.

Love these! I bought a pair of sky rise and a pair of originals to see which style I prefer. I do prefer the originals but I am so looking forward to wearing these cuties at the beach in the summer, very comfy and adore the vintage style with the fun pattern.

As a first time buyer I bought two pairs of pants in different sizes as I'm between sizes. I preferred the fit of the smaller pair but even these 'size up' pants don't fall down and they do make perfect bed pants! Thunderpants are the most comfortable pants I have ever bought and they wash very well too.
The most comfortable pants and I was glad to find them in black as I tend to buy all my basics in black. They do take a bit of getting used to the first time you wear them as they are it feels different having a fit that sits under your bottom rather than on it. However, what a brillant idea - they are so comfy, they don't move, don't roll down at all and now I am used to it it is my other pants that feel 'wrong'. I will be back to buy more...
