Thunderpants organic cotton and elastane fabric is super stretchy, comfy and easy-fit. There’s no nasty, scratchy elastic that digs in making them the ultimate comfy undie.
The undie styles are designed to sit in the natural curves of the body and are cut with plenty of fabric to cover your bum. Because our fabric is a bit thicker than you may be used to and has great retention and recovery, they may feel like they fit a bit tighter.
See the size guide below to help you choose the right size. If you happen to fall between the measurements in the undies, we recommend going up a size rather than down.... Our fabric is stretchy enough that a bigger size will often still fit, but won’t feel as tight. For the other garments, Bike Shorts, Leggings, and Camis, you should be ok in the same size as your Thundies but obviously all bodies are unique and how you want to wear them varies.

Hipster vs Original vs Sky Rise?
The three styles are exactly the same around the legs and bottom, the hipster is low rise sits on your low hip, the originals are higher and usually fall just below the belly button, and the sky rise are a high waisted that taper in at the top to sit on your natural waist.

Kids
As all children are different we suggest you go with your own intuition a little here. Thunderpants are very accommodating and tend to grow with your child so some children will wear their small undies well into the medium size range. When your child outgrows the children's range they can move into the smaller adults sizes.

These gorgeous teal green limited edition Thundies in our low rise hipster style are handmade by Rosie, using the tie dye method, each one is an individual like you!
We recommend washing these separately for the first few washes as some dye may still wash out and definitely don't wash with your brand new white tee shirt! Because they are hand dyed each pair will have slight variations to the ones photographed.

The hipster is sized from x small - x large, check our size guide against your measurements. This cut is designed to sit in the natural crease at the top of the leg, cover your bum and reach to your high hip area. We recommend the hipster if you are flat in the tummy and/or short in the rise to the waist. For many of us, the hipster does not reach over the apex of our tummy roll at which point the natural laws of gravity take over and the hipster will roll down. In this situation we have a solution in the higher waisted, original option.

The Thunderpants fabric is 90% organically grown cotton and 10% elastane to give that super comfy, soft stretchy feel. The waist and leg bands are constructed in the same, lovely fabric eliminating the need for the addition of nasty, grippy elastic and adding to the enjoyment of your Thunderpants experience. Made locally and lovingly in the UK.

To preserve the print and life of the fabric we suggest you do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants items. Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry your Thunderpants on the line, not in the drier.
Your Thunderpants are not only super comfy but they are designed to withstand some pretty staunch stuff, so get into them and get on out there!

Super cute pattern and I love the cut, I wish the hipster style came in more sizes as one size larger would have been a perfect fit. I hate the feeling of underwear over my belly so this is a much more comfortable cut for me and I'm sure that applies to others like me!
